Stop Snoring - Review of Snore Relief

Author: Stephen Turner

Snore Relief is a device designed to stop snoring by helping the snorer breathe more easily during the night. This article is a review of this stop snoring product.

Where to find Snore Relief

Snore Relief is made by Zhengda Science & Technology (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd - a Chinese company. Snore relief is available over the counter in many drug stores and online. It costs around $25 - which makes it a more expensive one-off purchase than other stop snoring remedies, for example stop snoring medications and sprays. However, Snore Relief lasts for two years, so spreading the cost over this period makes it comparable with the amount you might spend on stop snoring medications/sprays in that period.

How to use Snore Relief

Snore Relief is easy to use. It is horseshoe shaped and you insert the two ends into your nostrils and press the device into your upper lip. The device is built of silica for comfort.

Care should be taken to limit the number of pillows that you sleep on, since using too many is likely to cause you discomfort if the pillows press into the device when it is in place in your nose (see the product instructions for full details).

Snore Relief comes in two different models: one for Asian users, another for Europeans. Make sure that you buy the right model for you, since the models are of different size, and wearing the wrong model will be uncomfortable.

Does Snore Relief work?

The Snore Relief stop snoring device is designed to stop snoring by keeping a snorer's airways and nasal cavity open. It incorporates a magnetic chip which activates the nasal tissue, giving the tissue a form of physical therapy. In this way, a snorer's breathing should be smoother, and so the vibrations which cause the snoring sound will be less likely to occur. Snore relief has troughs in the part that fits into your nose which allow for air to pass, making breathing easy.

At first sight of this product you would be forgiven for thinking that comfort may be an issue - this was my first thought. Indeed, some users report that they find Snore Relief to be uncomfortable. However, many snorers have reported that Snore Relief is very comfortable (it's made of silica gel for comfort) and that their snoring stopped completely, or reduced significantly after using Snore Relief. It is suggested that you'll probably get used to it after a while. (Also, note the previous comment about not using too many pillows when you sleep). Evidence suggests, that Snore Relief is an effective stop snoring device in many cases and that it does clear congested nasal passages. In this way, the snorer is less likely to resort to mouth breathing, and so they are less likely to snore.

Being a device and not a medication, you don't have to worry about side effects, and Snore Relief can be used in conjunction to other medications.

So, should try it out? Well, if you have tried other stop snoring remedies but have not had success with these, then give this product a try. However, if you are just starting out looking for stop snoring remedies, try the free ones first, then some of the cheaper remedies before you buy this pricier product. In all events, consult you doctor in order that you get advice specific to your situation.

In summary, if you have tried other stop snoring remedies and devices and these have proved ineffective then give this product a try. As with all stop snoring remedies, medications and devices, there can be no guarantees that a particular product will work for you, and most snorers have to work themselves through a few stop snoring products before they find the one that really works for them.
